The media's adoration during the WH correspondence dinner is BS. Congratulate them for WHAT?

This morning on Bloomberg they are whinning, "why oh why isn't the WH negotiating the debt ceiling".

As though this is a standard procedure, and it is the Democrats who are behaving badly in the republican fiasco.

It is a rare event when someone in the press actually reports that the debt ceiling is a procedure for money that has already been spent, not new money.

Instead they push the extreme position that this is all because of the refusal of the Biden administration not to negotiate with McCarthy.

We lost an independent press with the Communication Act of 1996, and the corporate take-over of the media.

And they’re willing to tank the entire economy to do it.
