Single Side Band Radio to keep track of magats and other pus-heads?

I didn’t see a more suitable forum to post this question, so I went with “General.”

Anyone here with expertise in SSB (Single Side Band) activity and where the magats can be found discussing future overthrows, and exterminations of “wrong” people?

Is SSB a good place to learn what those fools might be hatching? If so, when and where on the dial might such broadcasts be heard?

Thanks for any information about this.

If they use SSB. One would have to know where to find the transmission. They can change quickly. Srkdqltr May 2023 #2

like AM or FM. It uses 1/2 of the wave. There are 2 types of SSB. Upper and Lower side band. You can listen on a shortwave radio that has the ability to hear SSB. Some CB radios have a few channels that can transmit on SSB.
Amateur Radio operators also use SSB to for their transmissions. I would think that you would hear most of the knuckle dragers on CB as that is more anonymous. On Amateur/ham radio you have to transmit your call sign. Call signs are readily available to view from the FCC website and others. I hope that this helps. My .02

The up side of side band is many can listen at once, but it's not private so that is its downside too.

That being said, they *would* technically use it on HF.

Magats are not very smart and would probably use it not realizing that under certain conditions, HF radio can go a looooooooooong way.

SSB isn't encrypted
