New College alternative commencement

The gofundme campaign for the students commencement this Thursday has been a great success. Check it out; the messages from the student leaders and the donors will inspire and cheer you. (And don’t we all need a little of that?)

Many of the donor comments begin “Bill Penzey sent me.” Hurrah for Bill Penzey, a hero for our times!

Money above the amount needed for the celebration will be handed to a student organization that will continue to support student activities next year at the school, in an effort to keep New College alive as an institution that celebrates diversity and inclusion in defiance of the fascist bullies attempting to quash its liberal soul.

These students are such brave and creative people. They are fighting for all of us.

…since thank you thank you seems a bit overused on this thread already.

When Bill Penzey first came out in righteous anger he said he got a mass of messages saying the writers had been loyal customers but would never order from Penzey’s Spices again. But these were utterly drowned by the positive response and his sales skyrocketed. He advocates for businesses to live their values.

I always feel good about ordering from them.
