North Carolina to pick up some House and Senate seats, the Dems might get more ideals.

Senator Warren, don’t be Ralph Nader or Susan Sarandon.

Biden had no intention of extending the forgiveness, hence why he was going to let it lapse in September (or August) anyway. Biden made that clear when he announced his forgiveness plan.

For her these program cuts/caps are deal breakers.

Others can swallow the bitter pill, knowing there are other benefits gained from passing the bill.

I’m weighing it against the fact that the Republicans are hostage takers and they’re willing to blow up the economy and destroy our good name across the world, and the Democrats are called on once again to be the grown-ups in the room.

And the grown-ups in the room are the ones who have to make hard choices. while the not-grown-ups keep having tantrums that hurt people across this country."

her explaining the HUGE need to pass this agreement.

* Statement of strong factional/ideological disapproval for the headline.
* Explanation of need to vote for it anyway.
* Reassurance that we're the grownups able to make hard choices and do what needs to be.

This is a very common pattern.

I'm hopeful there won't be a lot of Democrats voting against it. The reality is I think this will pass. Not appearing too "extreme" and "fringe" in the vote is some Democrats can use in the next election. Republicans want to crash the economy. They'll fail. But let them go on the record trying. Don't join them.
