6. The idiots tried to jack up NASCAR over Confederate flags. Got nowhere.

When NASCAR banned Confederate flags, several prominent NASCAR personalities - Dale Earnhardt Jr. among them - said "About damm time!" and shared their own stories about RESPECT. In the case of the Earnhardt family, Dale Sr. had gotten a truck with a rebel flag decal on the window, and "Daddy" (Ralph Earnhardt, a top driver in his day) asked him "When you gonna take that offa there?" "What for?" "It's not respectful to (their beloved black housekeeper). Get it the hell off!"
