Most new programs I see seem to indicate that the big problem is that the documents were classified

My question is, classified or not, what right does he have to any of the government documents, classified or not?

That certainly is a white washing of violations of the espionage act. They’ve gotten so lazy they just repeat republican talking points.

And agreed (not that there’s a choice now really) to relinquish the docs or have them destroyed, that would be ideal, but he doesn’t want to talk because that means exposing how much he sold to active enemies for personal gains/‘wins’, and how many people still in offices/divisions/bureaus/agencies let him or joined in.

The classified documents receive a lot of attention for 2 reasons, I believe. 1) By definition, they require care in handling, storing and sharing for the protection of the nation. 2) Clinton’s emails. The classified documents issue (whatever you think of it) was hyped as the reason she was unfit for office by TFG and the reason for the chanting in 2016.
