My question is, classified or not, what right does he have to any of the government documents, classified or not?

(43,853 posts)That certainly is a white washing of violations of the espionage act. Theyve gotten so lazy they just repeat republican talking points.

(855 posts)And agreed (not that theres a choice now really) to relinquish the docs or have them destroyed, that would be ideal, but he doesnt want to talk because that means exposing how much he sold to active enemies for personal gains/wins, and how many people still in offices/divisions/bureaus/agencies let him or joined in.

(7,574 posts)The classified documents receive a lot of attention for 2 reasons, I believe. 1) By definition, they require care in handling, storing and sharing for the protection of the nation. 2) Clintons emails. The classified documents issue (whatever you think of it) was hyped as the reason she was unfit for office by TFG and the reason for the chanting in 2016.
