...solving a triangle for a project. It was faster than trying to figure it on a spreadsheet, or looking up an online app. I'm still pretty good with it.

29. When I was working in a machine shop my boss belonged to the "Big Trig" conspiracy.

He was completely unwilling to make faith-based aircraft parts.

When we were setting up the tooling for some new part he always had to do the math first. He could have avoided all that trouble, and not wasted all that time in engineering school, if he'd just had the faith to ask God if the bits of metal we made were adequate.

This is really going to multiply the negative effect of hatred for our values, and subtract from rational discussion. I think it's just going to make things tensor in the current environment, but I suppose it's just a sine of the times. It's completely irrational.
