Has the Federal Government Done Anything to Improve Life in the U.S.A?...YES.: One Answer:

Last edited Sat Jul 1, 2023, 05:01 PM - Edit history (1)

Since 1970, implementation of the Clean Air Act and technological advances from American innovators have dramatically improved air quality in the U.S. Since that time, the combined emissions of criteria and precursor pollutants have dropped by 77%.

You can find this answer by asking Google, "Has the Federal Government Improved Air Quality in the U.S.A.?

Quote: ................................................

"One of the best pieces of evidence supporting the Environmental Kuznets Curve and the Environmental Transition Hypothesis can be seen in air pollution in the United States. As the chart below shows, between 1970 and 2018, U.S. gross domestic product increased 275 percent, vehicle miles traveled increased 191 percent, energy consumption increased 49 percent, and U.S. population increased by 60 percent. During the same time period, total emissions of the six principal air pollutants dropped by 74 percent."

Another Question....Who signed the first.."Clean Air Law" in 1970?"............I didn't know this crook did anything to help anyone.

............................President Richard Nixon.....................................................................................
The Clean Air Act was signed by President Richard Nixon on December 31, 1970 to foster the growth of a strong American economy and industry while improving human health and the environment..

and other POCs. We're still enjoying benefits from those administrations, and the Biden admin is adding on as programs from chips act, the PPP act and the infrastructure act get rolling with groundbreakings.
