Ohio Republicans promote mail-in, early voting after opposing it

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Once a rallying point to exclaim about unsubstantiated fraud, Ohio Republicans are embracing mail-in and early voting ahead of the August 8 special election.

Ohioans are showing up to vote on Issue 1, the proposal to make it harder to amend the state Constitution.

"We're encouraging everybody to get out and cast their ballot in the way that is easiest and most convenient for them," said Nazek Hapasha with the League of Women Voters.

More than 155,000 Ohioans have already voted in the Aug. 8 special election. Hapasha is confident that people are showing up to vote no on the issue.

1. Proving once and for all the secure the vote crap was Orwellian level speech backed by a billion

dollars of advertising.

Sold like a a Whopper, swallowed whole by millions as easy as belief a giant white balloon with no transmitters was spying on all of America……but it was all a mistake…honest…now go vote by mail, very secure!!

2. It was a stupid strategy to begin with.

Have every republican show up to vote in one day when they forgot daily life gets involved like sickness, car trouble, long lines, etc. how could they not see how dumb that was.
