How many Americans have read the indictment?

How many Americans do you think have actually read or listened to the 45 page indictment? Or are even aware of the charges?

Jack Smith couldn't have made it any easier. It's only 45 pages long with bullet points and is double spaced. And numerous outlets have an audio version available now.

I'm trying not to be pessimistic but betting on the intellectual curiosity of the American people is risky. Maybe if Jack Smith released 30 second Tik Tok videos explaining the evidence people might get it.

I can’t imagine reading 45 pages of legalese.

with an addition to the magnificently informative and factual synopsis of the case that set the stage for these prosecutions. And doesn't require reading. (Maybe after 2024 elections.)

Most people will just be picking up impressions...each week for months and years. NOT a happy time to be a Republican voter, but they earned it.

“They will teach this case in the history books: a president of the United States charged with conspiring against democracy itself.” Susan Glasser

“Jack Smith has indicted Donald Trump for trying to overthrow our system of government. There are no other cases. This is the case.” Tom Nichols

More have seen parts of it in their local newspapers or have seen TV news coverage of it. As a citizenry, we do not read things like that very often. That is the reality of it.

I have read the entire indictment, but I realize that I'm among a tiny minority of Americans in doing so.

A majority knows that an indictment has been handed down against Trump. That will have to do, I'm afraid.
