Doctors set up new party to fight election on NHS

Doctors who are launching a new political party are promising to make the NHS one of the key issues at the next election.

National Health Action will be unveiled at an event on Thursday in Westminster.

It's unlikely that something like that could happen here -- in the US case, a party devoted to implementing some kind of national health system -- but it's a nice daydream.

Of course, the problem is that a single-issue party can't accomplish much in a non-parliamentary system. But it could affect the discussion and make the issue important.

They don't give a shit that it costs at least 50% more in the US, and we get worse results. It's all about the money.
