Lindsey Stirling. NO Label, does all her own choreography, plus she's brilliant at Violin One artist I'd pay for her CD.

(2,404 posts)There used to be a rock bacd in the late 70s - early 80's called "UK" - they would open for Jethro Tull. They had a violinist who played a clear instrument. He was also the front man for the band I believe. He was amazing.

(4,569 posts)Their violinist was also the keyboardist.....but I remember them for the awesome drums.......They were a spinoff from King Crimson, if I remember correctly

(2,404 posts)I ended up doing some research on my own last night. Two hours later I had learned a lot about UK. They are pretty amazing and much more accomplished than I had remembered. I really miss the period of "advanced" Progressive Rock. Love King Crimson. Fripp is a genius who is completely underrated and under appreciated. Of course, for me it all started with Tull.
