as they are accustomed to handling high-profile white collar criminals.

Perhaps if he starts racking up convictions he might decide to start copping plea bargains in Georgia to stay out of their notorious state prison-- maybe agree never to run for office again,and serve his federal sentence ahead of any state prison term.

I don't believe that most of these judges (the twit in Florida excepted) would let him get by with just an ankle bracelet at Mar a Lago. The charges are too serious, and he should have a more severe penalty than his underlings.

As far as I'm concerned, they can throw in in Guantanamo if he whines about security concerns.

Until recently I thought no way. But these cases are piling up and the prosecutors and judges don't seem to be willing to drag it out indefinitely.

And I think things change when he's actually convicted. People on the fence, and there are still a lot of these people, will start saying, "well, he was convicted..." The GOP is going to flip out though and attack the rule of law, it will be very dangerous times.
