Every American ought to be fully aware that TFG is a traitorous monster. That the news media can't even put aside their corporate greed in this most dire of situations is a travesty. Tell the truth--that Pissolini lied & cheated & tried repeatedly to overthrow our government--even if you take a financial hit for it.

Really, though, if they truly wanted to, they could present the truth in a way that would "sell papers" (digital equivalent.) They could make click-bait out of it. But they don't.

So, they apparently want him to be POTUS again. Disgusting!

It pales only in comparison to the insurrection and coup of the Russian Revolution. Bolsheviks prevailed by strategic planning, alliances with right wing military and historic conservative groups, geographic advantage played well, and propaganda. Slow communications of the period worked to advantage too.

You could feel the effort to seize power from April 2016 when he began repeating elections were rigged. By "Russia, if you're listening ..." it was evident something was afoot.

Fri Sep 1, 2023, 11:30 AM
Sep 2023

He understands mob rules. His appeal is to hold the mob together. It carried over into politics via voter suppression (intimidation) and character assassination.

Lackeys do all the dirty work. And a major aspect of this affair, and the GOP of recent years has been money laundering, TFG's specialty. This will come out in trials, as it is coming out on Rudy.

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2023/09/a-new-rudy-scandal-fbi-agent-says-giuliani-was-co-opted-by-russian-intelligence/

TFG's empire is (arguably) an exercise in money laundering, and given the billions that Musk has lost, he may be playing the same game. When any operation loses lots of money while claiming to be successful, their success is suspect.

I have made comparisons to mob behavior in other posts.

It was a close call. If our favorite National Disgrace defendant gets convicted, I hope the judge sentences him to prison, NOT let him off with a plea deal with no prison time. He really needs to serve time for the unthinkable insurrection he mounted against our country. His sentence should be similar to the proud boys and oath keepers leaders of many years in prison.

Many people here have suggested that conservatives have acted with impunity since Nixon was pardoned. Reagan, Bush the lesser, and now Trunt. All have done terrible things to enrich themselves, their co-defendants, and even foreign nations - at the expense of millions of lives.

Each time they've gotten to walk away from it.

If he isn't punished, we'll get a new crop of criminals who, judging by their character, words, and actions, will do far worse things.

I think about McConnell's health and the idea of Rick Scott becoming Minority Leader scares the shit out of me. The guy is evil, smart, and motivated by the worst instincts. I feel like we'll actually miss Mitch if he takes the reins.

So fucking infuriating.

Fri Sep 1, 2023, 01:38 PM
Sep 2023

months before November 2020, covid was raging, people were dying, and the blame was solely on Trump...and because the signs pointed to a Trump loss, he, Barr, and DeJoy set about "fixing" the election in their favor..questioning the validity of mail-in ballots, slowing the mail, and warning rally goers if Trump lost it was because Biden and the Democrats had rigged the vote...and playing their part in the rigged election charade, Bannon/Giuliani/Stone, aware the early vote would more than likely skew Republican, concocted a plan for Trump to declare victory early, demand a halt to the vote count, and throw the outcome of the election to Trump's compromised Supreme Court, confident they would rule in Trump's favor with Bush v Gore as precedent....but the vote count continued and Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 election...

and that's when stealing the election from Biden was a go...

Fri Sep 1, 2023, 06:31 PM
Sep 2023

Plan A: Pre-election

Get Russia to manipulate the results.

Plan B: Election loss - 12 December

Sue if the results don't line up with "expected" vote tampering. Twist arms in swing states to "find" votes for TFG, by any means necessary (even tampering with voting machines, or trashing absentee ballots). Put together fake electors for when the votes are "found."

Plan C: 12 December - 5 January

Convince Pence and traitor thugs on Capitol Hill to throw elections back to state legislatures to authorize fake electors.

Plan D: 6 January and beyond.

Call forth mob to shut down counting the electoral votes. Subdue LEO and National Guard response until Antifa clashes with right-wing mob. When antifa gets into the fray, declare martial law. Suspend Congress. Arrest all antifa and Democratic elected officials. Install TFG as Dear Leader for "two weeks." A two weeks that never ends, of course, leaving TFG as Dear Leader for life.
