Chris Christie is actually gaining support for president. From Democrats.

SALEM, N.H. — Chris Christie is running away with support from at least one major voting bloc in his presidential bid.

The only problem is it’s among the least important groups in the Republican primary.

The former New Jersey governor has seen his popularity soar with Democrats. Whereas Democrats once considered him a bully, a threat and an opportunistic apologist for Donald Trump, they now can’t get enough of his new Trump-bashing persona.

“He’s probably the only Republican I would vote for,” said Joe Daly, a Democrat from Warner, N.H., who voted for Biden in 2020 but isn’t sold on a second term. Of those on the right, Christie is “the most reasonable, rational alternative to crazy Donald Trump.”

Let's not folks. To say Christie is better than Trump is a low bar. I still remember Bridgegate and him pulling New Jersey's contribution to the badly needed Gateway Hudson River Tunnel Project.

at least he's not a fascist bent on trashing the Constitution. Yes, that's a low bar, but there is no alternative I can see besides single-digit Asa.

If Christie loses an election, he'll admit it. The other big contenders, I really can't say that about them. At the very least, they would perpetuate the myth of “widespread voter fraud,” which is so corrosive to society.

That’s a real good thing to be this year.

But it’ll pass.

He’s still the piece of shit motherfucker who killed that old lady by closing down lanes of a bridge because he was butt-hurt at Democrats. He’s still the guy who closed state beaches and then went to the beach.

Cruelty for shits and giggles. That’s his game. That’s who he is.

And right now he’s in perfect position to attack Trump in a way that Trump can’t handle (badgering the witness), and I’m one hundred percent here for that.

I’m not stupid enough to vote for him, though.

... crap in order to help the Republicans. See HRC and her emails, see "the Hunter Biden scandal,"
see "swift boats for truth," or this bull shit, "Joe Daly, a Democrat from Warner, N.H., who voted for
Biden in 2020 but isn’t sold on a second term.*" This story is just like the Wall Street Journal's pre 2022
election Rupert Murdoch Poll talking about the coming Red Wave. Christie had awful poll #s the last
part of his term as governor.

BTW Joe is doing one of the best jobs ever as President

* What no Fox News going to talk to the common people @ some dinner that is chocked full of republicans?

Even the media that isn't GOP friendly constantly pulls the "Both sides are the same", and would constantly show Trump's empty podium (While Bernie Sanders got largely ignored...until they created the whole Bernie Bros nonsense) they are afraid of losing access, ditching the corporate media was one of the best decisions I made.

Voted for Biden, a registered democrat, but will not vote for him in 2024 after he has done an outstanding job?
Please.

I was hoping for better zingers. Christie would be a formidable GE opponent, so I'm fine with him underperforming.

Granted he's smarter than Trump. But who isn't? Granted, too, I like him beating up on Agent Orange. Though I must say he ran out of gas during the first debate.

Would I vote for him? Never. He reminds me too much of the infamous Frank Rizzo.

Why isn't the press writing about Republicans willing to cross over to the Dems--the Never Trumpers, the college-educated, Independents, the young? And women, for God's sake, for whom the GOP offers a return to the Good Ole Days, barefoot and pregnant.

That's like saying that working for $10 a week is better than working for $5 a week. Sure, it is, but neither one will let you live.
