(1,843 posts)date them or take them fishing, wouldn't paper targets save the military a few dollars, or is the "realism" supposed to enhance the killer instinct better than paper? Seems like such a waste of really good looking mannequins. I'm sure Rose would agree.

MADem
(135,425 posts)It adds to the craziness of this whole nutty "Gang that couldn't shoot straight" scenario.
Keep in mind this is the guy, who, as a rabid right winger, was so insistent on making sure that CANTOR was informed of this big-ass mess involving Petraeus, in the hopes that some shit would splash on Obama. He strutted right out as an ostensible "whistleblower" when, in actual fact, by involving Congress in the investigation before it was completed, he interfered with it. And to ice the cake, he didn't enjoy his hoped-for result.
Buns_of_Fire
(17,181 posts)If the potential consequences weren't so damned serious, it'd all make a good comic novel -- if any reputable publisher would touch such a plot, of course.

(86,646 posts)It doesn't look like he has any nipples! Must be why the dummies are his apparent best buddies... Good gawd. He seems to have that skinhead affiliated look... just sayin' And that's what passes for FBI these days? What a let down. No wonder Jilly tried call of the investigation after she saw this! But, she did claim he was a friend..? I'm getting confused now.

(3,266 posts)...he's a local. He sent this photo, as a funny, to everyone in his phone that he usually sends funny photos to, making fun of himself. He sent it as a joke, to men and women, all his friends, just as a funny. Not creepy, not sexual, just being silly and self-deprecating.

(8,391 posts)Sometimes the story doesn't get all out.
And it makes sense.
I can't imagine a guy sending a picture like this to try and pick someone up.

(13,776 posts)It's obviously just a joke. The way this "OMG shirtless!" picture was being talked about, I was thinking Anthony Weiner.
sabrina 1
(62,325 posts)of a progressive Democrat like Weiner. They are worlds apart.
And Weiner did nothing wrong btw, he was being stalked by Breitbart haters who btw, like this guy, were reporting their criminal stalking of a US Rep to Daryl Issa. This guy chose Cantor. Those appear to be the go-to guys in Congress for right wing loons to report to when they want to bring down a Democrat.
mythology
(9,527 posts)Granted it wasn't illegal, but it was certainly wrong or at least it would be wrong based on any of the women I've been involved with if I did it.
sabrina 1
(62,325 posts)half the population, maybe more, engages in every day. It was no one business, but Breitbart and his thugs with backing from Issa et al, were desperately trying to shut him up about some real wrong-doing, wrong-doing that has affected millions of Americans ever since Thomas was put on the SC with the help of his buddies from Citizens United. Not to mention the shenanigans his wife was involved in.
Weiner was stalked and harassed and unfortunately we belong to a party who will never go after real criminals, war criminals, economic terrorists, crooked SC Justices, but they will join extremist, right wing thugs like Breitbart every time to destroy good Democrats, like Van Jones, like Shirley Sherrod, like Acorn and like Anthony Weiner.
One thing you can say about Republicans, even when their guys actually break the law, they stand behind them and help them survive.
I am sick of being part of a party that loses its mind over some cyber sex which was no one's business, and drives a good Dem out of Congress, while telling us they cannot go after War Criminals because it make them look bad.
Get back to me when Weiner commits a war crime or a Wall St crime.

(12,704 posts)at the same time. It is plausible he re-sent the image to friends after the story broke. This guy is repuke scum so I wouldn't put anything past him.
MADem
(135,425 posts)The reporting on this whole mess is just...sloppy.
This guy's major contribution to the story isn't his "shirtless" (and nipple-less) picture, it's his rabid RW POV that made him want to whistleblow on his own agency, for fear they weren't moving fast enough to "get" Obama before election day.

(8,554 posts)I'm so comforted to see that our FBI is on the job. I can't even get your twitter page to open, since thousands are probably eager to view the image of slime caught in official government action. With baited breath.
I must say that this reminds me of so much of the revolting forwarded emails that right wing nuts seem to be so fond of sending, quite typical for them. And right on target.
Thanks for sharing, Hissyspit, and I sure hope that this guy's top-secret, super-duper, undercover code name will now change from "shirtless FBI guy" to nipple-less Federal dummy. What a way to make a name for himself...his parents must be so proud!
