The one who stayed in the primary was one of those "perennial candidate" people who has claimed endorsements she didn't get and in a later election got kicked off the gubernatorial ballot because her petition signatures were fraudulent.

She still netted 40% of the vote, thanks to Menendez's mendacity, but in the end he won the primary.

And then what were we supposed to do, vote the Trump-endorsed Republican?

He did not have a strong opponent.

But I voted for him in the General Election.

I wasn’t happy about it.

But I have NEVER voted for a Republican and I never will.

Even if a Republican ran UNOPPOSED I would not vote for them.
