OK...my Senator has been indicted and

I have only one question:

Will the media state during every report that he is innocent until and unless he is proven guilty in a court by a jury of his peers?

Because that’s appended to every story about the indictments of the Trump 235.

Oh…and btw, the answer already is “no”.

P.S. I’m not defending this guy. Just the “balanced” media coverage of political indictments.

Menendez is a stupid piece of shit, but he should NOT resign until criminally convicted. dalton99a Sep 2023 #13

Time to retire. His name has come up too many times over the past 10 plus years where there was the appearance of inappropriate or unlawful behavior. Yes, he would have been wise to resign after the last indictment.

And I am thinking specifically of some who aided and participated in Jan 6th and who I fully believe have been taking foreign funds and other illegal actions over the years like Mr Menendez.

Meanwhile - Gov Murphy has many incredible people to choose from that will honor New Jersey and it’s citizens.

Good riddance to corrupt members of Congress.

The seat is now held by Bonnie Watson Coleman. The 12 district is solid blue now but wasn't always. We once had an asshole named Mike Pappas as our congress person, the 2nd worst congress critter I ever has after Randy Cunningham when I lived in San Diego.

A dark horse candidate should Holt not take the job would be my friend State Senator Andrew Zwicker, also a PPPL scientist.

I am wondering how MSNBC’s Alicia Menendez is going to be navigating the indictment of her Daddy….

I actually like her and think she is good - how mortifying this must be when you know your father is corrupt and shameful.

I guess that is why on the rare occasion when this type thing does happen, it angers me. Perhaps it is the same for the media. I know that does not make it fair, but just saying. Also, when Dems are accused of something, Dems tend to do the right thing and Thugs blow passed it like it never happened. Franken and Boebert are prime examples of that.
