The deeper meaning of DjT's gun shop photo op...

"Think about the imagery. The standard bearer of the self-described “pro-life” party thought it cool to align himself with the shop where a young white supremacist was able to arm himself with a powerful weapon of war despite a questionable background. It was a purposeful photo-op. The tweet falsely claiming Trump bought a gun was to be icing on the cake. He didn’t have to be explicit, didn’t have to say he was courting the blood-stained hands of racists, white supremacists and white nationalists. All he had to do was show up at Palmetto State Armory and smile. They’d surely get the message, particularly after weekend rants on social media that included threats against those who oppose him."

That Trump was holding the gun and discussing purchase at this same gun store.

Also, Dylan Roof bought a Glock from gun store in Charleston suburb and then racist perpetrated racist murder of 9 in a predominantly black church.

Lots of them got sent to prison. Lots of them got made into dead due to refusal to take Covid seriously. Some, here and there, have opened their eyes, taken down their Trump flags and skulked off back under their rocks.

The 'polls' say on thing, his desperate behavior lately says a whole different thing. My guess is donations are down at a time when legal bills are piling up exponentially. And his ol buddy in Russia has his hands full trying to save his own ass as financially hogtied Oligarchs are getting tired of the expensive, for them, invasion of Ukraine.

Gold plated ARs and semi-auto pistols marketed under the P01135809 name.

Still, the deeper message of P01135809's photo op was intentional.

South Carolina is an early primary state and the Republican candidate will win SC's electoral votes.

Even if no Palmetto State Armory purchased or manufactured weapon was used in a shooting (racist or otherwise), it is smart retail politics to hold a photo op in one of their stores. Palmetto State Armory is a big deal in South Carolina.
