She let him lie and gishgallop. She asked questions and he just kept speaking over her, with no pushback.

She is one of the best interviewers in the media, but this morning she got rolled by a fucking lightweight.

1. Interviewers need a mute button when interviewees do this.

It's SOP for mostly GOP spokespeople. Nearly all of them do it and it's irritating that nothing has ever been done to mute them. Of course, then they'd whine about censorship rather than acknowledge their rudeness.

And the interviewer could say, I'm going to keep you on mute until you stop talking over me and answer the question I'm asking you. Let the interviewee stomp off. If this becomes SOP for the interviewers, the yakkers will either refuse to go on the shows or STFU.

Granted she’s better than anyone over on Meet the Press in 25 years. She’s definitely a huge step down from John Dickerson IMO.
