To wave 26 different laws to build the wall says differently. The wall funds are a requirement but waving the 26 different laws is absolutely a choice.

I dont see the point in hounding him in an election year where the fate of our nation is at stake.

But this is going to create an environmental and ecological disaster and do little to nothing to stop the flow of immigrants into the US.
As AOC pointed out in one example:
once sanctions were placed on Argentina the number of undocumented immigrants from Argentina jumped exponentially.
This is a foreign policy/trade issue. We can't ruin a nation's economy and not expect a cost for that.
