Open Secrets has him at about $64 million. Other sources have him around $77 million.

That's an entirely different ballpark from being a billionaire.

That doesn't mean this isn't just a vanity campaign. I think it's actually a trial run for 2028.

I really don't know enough about him to have an opinion. The only thing I've seen was a journalist asking him three times to identify where he disagrees with President Bident, and he couldn't give an answer.

On an earlier OP/thread, I predicted he might get a total of 27 votes nationwide in the primaries. If he can't answer that question, I would lower it to 24.

He’s running because he thinks Biden is a weak candidate again Trump.

And Biden beat dozens of other Democrats in order to be in a position to beat Trump.

And Biden will beat Phillip's and anyone else dumb enough to challenge him in the primary.

He did say that several times. And I do think that current polls suggest that a great amount of people wish there were options other than President Biden and the defendent representing the two major parties. I should have noted that, but I've just learned of a death in the family, and will not be thinking clearly today.

I do think that there is a danger in people thinking that President Biden will easily defeat the defendent next year. I recognize that a number of Democrats and independents have concerns about his age. I'm not sure that running as a younger version, lacking Biden's experience in a wide range of important issues, will attract voters' support. But a heck of a lot can change in the months to come.

He votes as he should. I don't think he should be running for President, but I also don't think he has a prayer of winning any primaries. He'll be running again for his House seat in 2024, I predict.

So, I'm sort of neutral on him at the moment.

17. June 4 is deadline in Minnesota for him to file for Congress.

Maybe we should have a lottery to pick when he will drop out?

I think it will be before the first primary in March.

On second thought it will be right after Minnesota has their primary on March 5th. If he was smart it would be before so he doesn't get humiliated by the results in Minnesota. Especially in his own district.
