There are daily OPs here about how much Israel is doing to the people of Gaza

Can anyone point to an OP criticizing Egypt for keeping the border closed?

In fact, I see “Countries should be able to determine whether or not they open their borders” ( I agree), and “Palestinians shouldn’t have to leave Gaza” (also true, although staying certainly increases the risk of injury or death).

There would not have been one bomb dropped on Gaza over the past several weeks, but for the atrocities Hamas committed on October 7. All supplies would be continuing as usual, but for the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7. Many hundreds of people now dead in Gaza would be alive, but for the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7. Many more will die who would not have, but for the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7.

handed out a paper from Harper's Weekly or something similar, depicting John Wilkes Booth, hobbled on stage below the opera loge at Ford's Theater where Abraham Lincoln began his death throws.

Our task, was to consider this, the center of a maelstrom, what consumed America, for some years before and for some years after.

The moment captivates us all, but the comings and goings spread the panorama we all need to consider.

Our final was the analysis of an aspect that clarified a coming or going.

Learned a lot about how the world sees things.

The only real solution might be that Palestine be made to have all its lands restored?

Back to the '67 borders.

*And* with the rights of Palestinians to return to their homeland.

Then they could accept a 2-state solution. The gullible (naive, fellow-traveller) reporter didn't ask, "Does that mean millions of Palestinians returning to Israel proper?" but it's fairly clear and the Palestinian Authority, who was asked to speak for Hamas when he couldn't, didn't offer more information.

He also couldn't bring himself to say ill about Hamas, to be honest. If the settlers left the WB, it would be like the peace deal with the PA when Israel pulled out of Gaza. Then those who legit bought land left. There was destruction of things because they were Jewish, not Muslim. And then the militancy, built on triumphalist Islamicist victory, only grew. Now extend that to the WB.

First, get Israel to be accepted in principle. Then, perhaps, their grandchildren's kids might be able to work out a deal.

When you are offered and reject a two state solution time after time after time after time, because you were promised the Jews would be washed to the sea, you don’t get the previous offer you rejected.

Palestinians never agreed to any land, therefore there’s technically nothing to restore.

If they were to agree to live in peace, maybe then a deal could start. Until they acknowledge Israel’s right to exists, how can negotiations start?

Tony Blinken blamed Hamas for the border not opening yet, but the Qataris’ negotiations supposedly are getting close to a breakthrough on opening the border, at least as far as allowing non-Palestinians to leave.

The OP asks for something, gets it, and the response is silence.

I mean, it was a specific request. You answered it. I answered it (not as well as you).

Now what? Clearly the OP was seeking information. Now that he has it, what next?

"Yesterday, Russia dropped more bombs on Ukrainians than Ukrainians on Russians. The Ukrainians are right. Russian hands off of Ukraine!

"Today, Ukraine dropped more pounds of munitions on Russians than Russians on Ukrainians. Stop Ukrainian oppression of Russians!"

My phrasing? Hamas pulled the trigger on the Israeli gun aimed at their population's throat. No pulling of the trigger, no stack of bodies.

Israel and Palestinians agree to cease-fire ending days of fighting and bloodshed

May 13, 2023

TEL AVIV — Israel and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have agreed to a cease-fire ending five days of fighting between the two sides, one U.S. official and one Israeli official told NBC News on Saturday.

The cease-fire was mediated by Egypt and will start at 10 p.m. local time.
“Now, this agreement has been reached thanks to continuous Egyptian effort. We appreciate this effort,” Mohamad al-Hindi told the Al Kahera Wal Nas channel.

Let's say in 1948 it was decided that Baja California would be given as a homeland.

Then in 2023 a group funded by a Mexican drug cartel murdered innocent people at a festival in Tijuana and murdered thousands down to Ensenada.

The proposed solution is to allow those original inhabitants and offspring in BC to relocate to a neighboring Country after multiple generations of radicalization.

Think about the impact of the US opening borders to allow people in! You my as well shut down all political discussion because the side trying to work a solution would be DONE!
