Living here, you would never guess this is considered a blue state. At the VFW post where I vote, I have never seen the Democratic candidate show up to greet voters and you cant get away from the Trump flags either at the homes or even on the beach in the summer. I could tell the lady noted my party registration and saw her brow knit a bit.
Great voting machines however, electronic, but you visualize your printed ballot with your choices prior to casting your vote, which is reassuring.

(4,341 posts)And, yes, Ive noticed the more south I go, the more I see Trump flags. And, Monmouth seems to be split 50/50. Im in a red part of Monmouth. Just moved here a year ago, so we added 3 dem votes to the area!!!

(21,554 posts)The amount of signs and flags, etc., is a good measure of the enthusiasm of a minority. But flags don't vote, and they're not a reflection of what the majority believes.

(27,960 posts)I note this because many of them are aggressive and frightening neighbors, especially if they get some idea of ones ethnicity. Nasty fucks.
