Ammon Bundy ‘in hiding’ after losing Idaho home, websites in legal battle with St. Luke’s

Sally Krutzig
Fri, December 1, 2023 at 8:10 PM EST·4 min read

St. Luke’s has won significant battles recently in its fight against far-right activist Ammon Bundy.

The health system, which won a defamation case against Bundy and one of his associates this year, has taken ownership of his Emmett property and house — after a judge voided a sale Bundy made to another associate — and also succeeded in getting Bundy’s websites removed from the internet.

Ever since an Ada County jury ordered that Bundy, Diego Rodriguez and their entities had to pay $52.5 million in damages for defaming St. Luke’s and some of its employees, the health system has been pushing hard to collect money. It has also been trying to get Bundy and Rodriguez to remove false, defamatory online statements about St. Luke’s and its staff as part of a judicial order.

This week, St. Luke’s made gains on both fronts.

When Bundy refused to begin making damage payments, St. Luke’s was able to go after his assets instead. St. Luke’s asked 3rd District Judge Brent Whiting to undo the sale of Bundy’s home, alleging that he sold it illegally last year to put an asset beyond a creditor’s reach, which is considered a fraudulent conveyance under the law.

Nevada for his participation in the armed family standoff over stiffing the BLM over grazing fees.

Oregon for his weeks-long armed occupation at Malheur Wildlife Preserve (resulting in the death of one of his followers).

In both instances, Federal Marshals and prosecuters failed to make their case. The Bundys walked free.

In the Cliven grazing fees case, there was some prosecutorial misconduct claimed that resulted in dismissal with prejudice. That's not at all a "failed to prove" acquittal.

In the Malheur case, it was pure jury nullification led by a sov-cit flavored jury foreperson.

I do, however, agree with you that the Bundys walked free.

than would seem to make sense, especially in the Oregon case. Feds did not so much blow the cases as underestimate the jury pool. In both cases the months and months of pretrial publicity of the events of the cases were far too sympathetic to the Ammons and their distortions of US Constitution.

That sounds familiar.
He tried to "sell" his house and furnishings to avoid ceding it to the judgment and was "renting" it.
When the courts reversed the sale they found he stripped the place clean and moved on. He's not going to be missing for long. He's a hot potato. Even the guy who "bought" his house is now cooperating.

To recap how he got himself into this mess:

They posted videos and blogs saying the hospital was working with the Idaho government to take children away from Christian families to be sexually abused and given to gay couples, according to court documents.

He's a psychopath if he thinks he can get away with such slander. Again, it sounds so familiar.

This phuker should be in a jail and his idiot brother. How he and a bunch of misfits took over and occupied the Maher complex for days and just destroyed it then one of his followers got in a high speed chase and ended up shot dead by LE yet is still free is FBS. This whole family just like trumps they feel they are entitled to graze for free and do as they pls, rules are for the “little people” as that idiot ditz from Colorado said in a theater. Obama should have dropped a hammer on these phuks that day at that river bottom. I still cannot believe the photo of the traitorous phuk cowardly hiding behind a wall pointing a sniper rifle at government officials aka Americans with wives and daughters and sons. We keep letting these assholes like the bundys and the trumps get away with unbelievable shit and think that this will end on is own that ”cooler minds will prevail”… not gonna happen this is THE cooler minds… this is going to have to be met with force. We are 99% animal and 1% human and the human response has failed.

The jury in this case was every bit the disgrace the jury was in the OJ case. I watched a show couple yrs ago with an interview of the a juror on the on jury she said they all knew oj was guilty AF but after those crooked cops walked from beating Rodney King (all w/ shit eating grins after verdict was read) the OJ jury let oj off as “payback” for all the bad that has happened to King and more…

grief/complaint about almost everyone and everything. You can't make anyone like this happy at all. All he wants is to be king of his little plot of land somewhere in the boonies and pretend that he's important. If he quit doing things illegally, mouthing off at people and/or other entities falsely, accusing them of all kinds of fake nonsense, he needs to pay out the wazoo, for he truly deframed these entities. My take is that such a person is the fitting definition of a coward, who can't stand behind his words and instead, crawls into his hole to hide, when things get too tough.

Bankruptcy requires time to use the process and supplying a full accounting of personal assets to be filed with the court. Ammon doesn't trust or use legal courts of any kind, and was trying to leave town quickly.

I suspect he'll be found hiding out off the beaten path among his fellow sovereign citizens: in the Alaska back country, southern Arizona under an assumed name as someone's "cousin", rural east Oregon.

"judge voided a sale Bundy made to another associate"

In other words, he "sold" the property to a buddy of his in a transaction that totally wasn't to hide assets from his creditors.
