...isn't primarily (maybe not at all) that they show poor character, unfitness to be president, etc. Repub. voters likely won't reject him on that basis.
The major problem is that he is the perfect illustration of what is wrong with the system. For example, if everything he is doing is legal but objectionable, why have we made it legal? We need to fix it.

(28,498 posts)Sure, TARP was suppose to save the banks and brokers, but what "investors" benefited as well? I read that very little of the TARP funds went to "save" pensions for workers like teachers, police, and firefighters, and that much of it went to bailout "investors."
With the revelation that Mitt hid his swag in offshore tax havens, I wonder how much he benefited from TARP?

(8,694 posts)it would be Mitt Romney. He is a walking, talking corporation. We all know what the average American feels about corporations. He is the perfect Archetype. We couldn't have created a more perfect symbol of what is wrong with the system, then Willard.
