Things For Which You'd Like To See Nate Silver Forecast

Odds of Karl Rove finding out where Jimmy Hoffa is buried.

Odds of John Boner crying when we go off "The GOP cliff".

Odds of Dick Cheney becoming cellmates with Bernie Madoff.

Odds of Mitt Romney, Donald Trump, and John McAfee getting together and acting out a real life "The Three Amigos".

Nate Silver never claimed to be a democrat or was he biased in any way. He did his job. He is not a pollster, he just analyzes them. His job is to be accurate, not to get anyone elected. His reputation and career is based on being accurate. You think he's going to ruin that to favor a candidate when that in itself is not helping anything?

A polling company's job, also, is to be accurate. If they skew polls to favor a candidate, they lose their crediblilty. Also...it doesn't help the candidate at all to have polls report in their favor when it's not accurate.

Polling companies make mistakes and are off at times...but to claim they are biased just because they don't say what you want them to say...is silly. It's wasted energy and space on a discussion board to constantly question polling.

Newcasters are another story. I don't think they are told to lie necessarily. I think they are expected to keep an election neck in neck to create a horse race. Newscasters are bought with big pay checks and owned by networks.

And it depends if he wants a book that sells 10 million or a vanity production

Tom Brokaw and Tim Russert sold 10 million by selling out.
Tim Russert became the person who ruined Dennis Kucinich

Dan Rather sold a couple of books to his biggest fans and the majority of copies were returned by remaining true.

Book sales are phony.
The big money passed to the author who plays ball is not

all depends on what he wants
to remain a smarmy correct pollster, or to be a rich person and live with his family in luxury down the road a piece.
