I have watched it several times and can't tell.
Anyone know how this was accomplished?

(45,485 posts)It was a video of Christie on Morning Joe talking about how everyone had to work hard. While talking, he seasoned and buttered a turkey for roasting, and then paused to wipe his buttery hands on his suit.

(269 posts)Every time I'e ever roasted or witnessed the roasting of a turkey. The buttering was done by looenig the skin from the meat while leaing enough connective tissue intact to hold the skin on. Then you force in a compound butter made of sage and rosemary. Then you baste. Buttering the outside is silly and likely staged.

(31,706 posts)Back in my teevee days, we had lots of fun with the toy...it replace a color the camera sees with what is superimposed through another camera. In this case, they took the video of mourning Joe..."green screened" a guy in a suit size similar to Christie's with the face matted out...thus the real Christy face is there, the suit and turkey were superimposed with hillarious results...
Happy Turkey Day...
