Fischer on Rubio: ‘Eyewitness account’ in Bible proves Earth created in 7 days

Bryan Fischer, the director of issues analysis of the conservative fundamentalist American Family Association, says that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was not wrong for suggesting that the Earth was created in seven days because the only “eyewitness account” is in the Bible.

Answers in Genesis “researcher” Dr. Terry Mortenson told Fischer on Tuesday that Rubio had given a “deft answer” when he told GQ magazine that he didn’t know the exact age of the Earth because “I’m not a scientist, man.”

“If fact, I would submit that scientist cannot tell us the age of the Earth,” Mortenson insisted. “The only way we can know the age of the Earth is if we have eyewitness testimony of somebody who was there, and that we have in the Bible, which is the inspired word of the creator.”

“That’s a very, very important point,” Fischer agreed. “Because nobody was there and there was no human witness to the origin of the Earth and the origin of all things. I mean, Adam wasn’t even an eyewitness to his own creation. All the sudden, he was there.”

until they need science, medical or otherwise, to keep them alive. It's just like their railing against government handouts but don't dare touch their Medicaid or Social Security.
