if i were joe, i'd have merrick garland on the carpet yesterday.

the prez keeping his paws off doj is a good policy. but it’s also his JOB to see that the dept is well run. hur proves it is clearly not well run.
i wd ask for the resignation letters of any shit stain’s leftovers not covered by civil service, and for the process to begin to remove those that r.
i wd review the state of hi level prosecutions for j6. if there r no congresscritters on that list, i wd ask for his resignation.

this has nothing to do w the political hit delivered by hur, but by the incredibly inappropriate content of the report, in violation of allllll doj procedures. including garland’s responsibility to edit that piece of trash. it’s time to put his head on the chopping block. give him 60 days to get his shit together or hand over the reigns.

ps- i wd make sure commander sat in on the meeting.

2. Hur did not release his report, Garland did.

Hur's report was confidential, Garland read it and Garland released it. Merrick Garland owns Hur's political hit job on Joe Biden.

Garland did not have to release Hur's report, he could have just given a summary, just like Bill Barr did.

6. Joe should fire whoever suggested nominating Garland in the first place.

The first clue for President Biden should have been when 20 Magat Senators voted to confirm Garland.

It would be political suicide for Joe to fire Garland now, Trump would have a hey day.

Who would Joe pick to take Garland's place? Just imagine whoever he/she would be would be torn to shreds by Senate Magats at the confirmation hearing.

It's too late, will have to wait until Jan. 20, 2025.

imho opinion, is it wd play to cheers from at least half the base, as well as a big chunk of the rest of the country. not the conventional wisdom. but a bold show of leadership wd go a long way.
he wd step down gracefully, i believe. joe wd have a pile of facts and evidence, starting w the left behinds who stonewalled this in the 1st place, to this bullshit here.
throw in the slow and no prosecutions for defying subpoenas. no fear of favor my shiny metal ass.
