Kelly Ripa, a news anchorwoman? WTF? I don't grudge Kelly but I never

knew she was a "hard news" anchor. I don't watch the networks often but I was flicking the channels and there she was. It was probably channel seven. Maybe this was going on a while or maybe she was just subbing. I don't know. I am not naive -- I know mainstream news has been BS for years but how can anyone take news seriously with an entertainment host delivering it?

They are not given the star-treatment like ours are..

I always like it when CNN-I takes over sometimes in an international story. It's refreshing to see some "age" on the faces, and to see women reading the news who are not lip-glossed/spandexed to within an inch of their life

Maybe she can do a cartwheel between segments or something.
