bought a California chardonnay and an Italian sangiovese for the table. Were OK but nothing special.

Also picked up a George duBoeuf Beaujolais Nouveau and an Armenian pomegranate wine. Half expecting it to be bad, but it was intriguing.

Grandma and I are spending thanksgiving camping at the beach.

I had a couple bottles of beer while I grilled the turkey and we're having wine with our pumpkin pie.

I bought the last 24 pack at the grocery store 31 minute before closing. There was a poor sucker looking for some for his wife. I quickly threw the 24 pack in my truck before he could see, wished him a happy thanksgiving, and sped out of the parking lot. All with a shit eating grin on my face.

I have one of those Soda Stream soda makers, and orange is their best flavor, so that's what I had with Thanksgiving lunch. Tonight (but not yet) I'll crack open a 1.5l bottle of Woodbridge Sauvignon Blanc and probably drink most of it myself. Both of these beverages are decidedly not for the connoisseur!

It was the first time I made it, and it won't be the last. I used a light rum and a spice mix you can buy at the store. Keep it in a crock pot to keep it warm and available. Add rum to taste...
