Donald Trump's fraud wasn't victimless

Trump rolled the dice with his bank loans and put himself in a position to be lucky, and he got lucky. Had he been unlucky, he would have found a way to leave the bank holding the bag. Then he parlayed his good business fortunes into a successful presidential run, which he has admitted to. This was done largely on his celebrity facade and the pretext that he had built a great organization. So, his traveling carnival of cronies went on to snare 330 million more "loser" victims in addition to the "suckers" at the bank.

How much money in lost tax income was there?

How he hasn't been prosecuted for criminal tax fraud in the fifty years of this BS is beyond me.

As is often said -- Good thing he wasn't selling loose cigarettes, there are real consequences for that.

2. Didn't he brag during an interview about how he would re-negotiate his bank loans to get write-offs?

He would borrow a massive sum, then tell the lender he couldn't make the payments, offer them a fraction of the value in payback in lieu of a default, and they would write off the bulk of the loan. He would skate off with the bank's money and never pay it back.

He said "No one knows as much about debt as Trump" and even talked about using the same techniques to retire our national debt.

Am I imagining this?
