1. We can ask, request, suggest, demand, threaten Hamas & Israel all we want

But until they stop shooting at each other it'll never happen, seems like both sides want the last shot.
Plus Biden, Secretary of State Blinken, and our Israeli Ambassador have been asking, requesting, suggesting
demanding and threatening both parties to no avail.

Just how can any American, Mexican, Korean, etc etc stop a war they're not involved in? Meanwhile we have
some people who vote uncommitted because our Presidency doesn't come with a magic wand.

3. The United States is not bombing Gaza. We can't completely control our allies

Now we can decide Israel is not an ally anymore. If that’s what people want

But I remember when we did all that bombing under George W. Bush. But that was the United States actually dropping the bombs. What I wanna know is why doesn’t Israel remove Netanyahu. Seems like he’s the problem

14. There is of course a political aspect that makes it very difficult for any US administration to oppose anything Israel

does.

Netanyahu immediately negotiated a war cabinet deal that effectively froze the political situation in Israel. So nothing is going to change there until that is altered.

Not everything is about domestic politics.

12. Is that the case?

Other than the public relations and diplomatic aspects of the US pulling all aid to Israel, what would the military impact be? Would it stop the IDF operations in Gaza?

According to the Council on Foreign Relations the US is currently supplying about 15% of the Israeli defense budget.

That is a lot - $3.3 billion USD. But it is nowhere near a majority of their resources. And much of it has already been spent by Israel on US manufactured arms.

My layman’s view says not giving any more money would not stop the current operations. In the future it might cause some scaling down of the IDF budget, or Israel could come up with the money in some other way.

15% is not a controlling interest. It does not seem to be enough for us to be able to force them to do what we say.

If we want them to change their behavior, we are going to have to do more than just pull funding. We are going to have to help convince their current government that shifting their strategy is in their best interests long-term. And that may be a hard sell given the current situation.

13. I agree with you. If we pulled aid we would have no influence on them whatever, and they wouldn't stop bombing

Get the hostages released through an exchange of prisoners, then target each participant in the 10/7 attack.
