South Carolina Joins LGBT License Plate PartyFollowing in the footsteps of Maryland and, recently, Indiana, South Carolina will offer proLGBT equality license plates.
South Carolina's subtle plates cost $25, with half of that money going to the South Carolina Equality Foundation. Parties in Columbia and Charleston take place Friday and Saturday to honor the new plates.

(24,412 posts)rather surprised to say the least given how most of the state is pretty regressive (and we have an upcoming second vote on anti-gay marriage amendment during this legislative session).
I may have to spare a few bucks to spring for this!
