A two-year-old boy was found abandoned in a Springfield, Massachusetts K-Mart stores parking lot late Friday night. According to Springfields WWLP News 22, the boy was left in 34-year-old Anthony Perrys Nissan Venza while Perry went into the store to buy a 51-inch television.
Police found the boy sleeping in the car at about 1:30 a.m. after passersby called to report the abandonment. Perry had returned home with his new television hours earlier without ever reporting the child missing.
Springfield Police Captain Cheryl Claprood told WWLP that Perry denied abandoning the boy, saying that the child had gotten away from him in the store. The toddlers mother, Perrys girlfriend, left the boy in Perrys care while she went to work.
The boy was taken to a hospital and checked out. The Department of Family and Childrens Services will decide what happens to him next.
Police offered no explanation as to how Perry returned home without his car.

(40,416 posts)It doesn't matter that his buddy with the big van or pick-me-up truck drove him home. And the kid in the car was alright. So let it go.
The important thing is that he didn't get shot, or trampled to death, or punched out to get this really great price on this really big, big, big televisionary set. It gets all the channels in both two and three Dee. But that really doesn't matter as long as it displays the FOX bimbos in high resolution.
Didn't I say that the kid was okay when they found him still sleeping in the middle of the night?
No problem. Black Friday's just another shopping day.
Move along, folks. Move along.
Nota bene: Extreme
