"Stolen birth certificate, Stolen social security numbers, STOLEN election."

Direct quote from a teabagging idiot.

Personally, I find their unwillingness to accept reality somewhat calming. It means they won't be prepared t so what is necessary to win in 2014 and 2016 but will instead, cling to their created reality.

Obama won easily. Get over it. The primaries are so yesterday. Who cares how Repukes stabbed themselves in the back?

Obama won easily. And there are many who saw it early and often. There are others here who screeched that the election would be stolen right up to the day of the election. This, in spite of those of us with a reality based framework, and not one of Rovian conspiracy theories.

Now, in spite of the unmistakeable outcome we have to suffer this ridiculous evidence free, anomaly laden, stolen election rubbish.

The measure of this is that it is precisely what we are seeing from the equally delusional Freepers.

I will repeat. Obama won easily. There was no stolen election. Get over it.

The outcome was in line with Nate Silver's predictions.

In other words, there is no evidence of such wide spread election fraud as you suggest.

If you have actual evidence and aren't either just making shit up, or parroting stuff from another stolen election blog, I would welcome it and gladly stand down.

But you, like all the other DU stolen election crowd, have no evidence.

Put up, or shut up. I will listen, but only up to a point. I want to see actual data, not allegations or suppositions.

Obama won easily. There was no stolen election in 2012. Get over it.

Why do you stolen election conspiracy theorists want to turn a beautiful victory into a Pyrric victory?

We need your help for 2014. If you believe in your Rovian conspiracies, I suggest that you should take the training and become poll observers in 2014. After all, we wouldn't want the Republicans to steal yet another election like they did this year.

Sat Nov 24, 2012, 09:41 PM

From statistics of other elections comes the formulation of the 4% theft. Exit polls are being hidden. Obama campaign said that American polling was ridiculous.

The problem being that so many votes are made in places where there is no verification and the fact that it is said Obama won just 51% of the vote makes the idea of 4% stolen a very worthy theory.

Can you prove otherwise? You say Obama won easily. 51-49 is not easily. It is too close. I don't believe it. 55-45 is more believable, even that may be too low.

President Obama won by, let's see...

First of all, Romney probably took less than 47.5%, as of today. So your 49% is either out of date, or a lie.

Your Argument from personal incredulity about your expectation of a 55-45 spread is rejected by all the data at DUer's have had at their fingertips throughout this election cycle.

Unfortunately, you stolen election truthers are not interested in facts and data. Your only goal is to construct ever more complex theories on how a national election can be stolen, in spite of any fact, oversight, judicial action, or the fact that the guy you support, and his party, won a great victory this year -- far greater than anybody predicted.

Stop pissing on our victory.

Or, to put it more gracefully, Stop with the negative waves, Moriarty!

There was no stolen national election in 2012, or 2010, or 2008.

Enough is enough.

Means that 49% did not vote for Obama. Actually the last I saw it was under 51%. It was close. So more than 49% voted against Obama.

Too fucking bad for you that some of us are brave enough to deal with reality and not stick our heads in the sand. WE are not like you.

Actually, we who have dealt with the theft are thanked for sounding the alarm and making the politicians take notice. People do bow to us and praise our efforts.

People who like Rove, hate us. It is to be expected.

You said it was 55-45. Nobody, no polls (not even the most optimistic ones) ever had Obama over Romney since Romney had the nomination in his pocket.

Do stolen election truthers get to just make up shit to support their preconceptions?

Stop this shit. If you think Republicans are stealing elections, stand the line like many of us have done. Take the obligatory training and become poll watchers, count watchers, etc. Get appointed to election commission.

Do something about it. Stand the line. Learn how the electoral process actually works, all the checks and balances throughout the process.

Then, and only then, can you speak with authority about stolen elections. I am sure, that if you do that and discover fraud, there will be reporters swooping down on you to tell the story.

Unless you think that ALL the reporters are in on it as well. Now that's what I call a grand conspiracy theory. Everybody's in on it. They're all getting paid off... Or maybe they're getting murdered for what they know...

Ah! No news about that...

You have nothing. Obama won easily. Get over it.

Do you mean like the screecher Republicans are gonna steal another election crowd?

We see them every national election. And no matter what the outcome they present their shitty evidence of some mysterious (usually) Rovian conspiracies.

DU should shovel the stolen election crowd into the dungeon with the 9/11 truthers. They can still post here but it's in the truther dungeon only.

If ever there is a real stolen election, there will be people who actually stand up and do their part to insure the integrity of our voting procedures who will report the anomalies. Not someone who hasn't stood up and merely snipes from the sidelines.

Stand up, or stand down with your unsubstantiated allegations. If you have actual evidence, you need to be at the attorney general's office, not spewing it here. Then, it will be reported here.

If you have knowledge of voter fraud, do the right thing.

Put up. Or shut up.

I understand some folks are a bit challenged by math and science, and that's why I'm trying to help out. That's how I am standing up and doing my part. I'm adding my voice to the conversation.

Once more, slowly, the official recorded vote counts from the primaries cannot possibly occur without votes having been electronically flipped to Romney from the other candidates.

And have been respectful, even when I was cranky.

I will be back to you tomorrow.

I am not mathematically illiterate (physics education, retired math teacher) but it's been a while. It comes back, though.

If you wish to add substantive data, please PM me and I will look it over.

Understand, my main objection is not that the Republicans game the system, which they clearly are, but that they have some global conspiracy where they tweak the knobs of the electoral process to the point that they can effect every national election.

That's what we see every two years here on DU. And I don't buy it.

But I will gladly change my mind of there is data to support it. That's the difference between me and the stolen election truthers.

Let us continue on this colliquy.
