TYPICAL!!!!!

This is the bank I’ve used for over twenty years.
The first bank to close this year in the US
There was a branch in the lobby of my office building
Yes I know I haven’t lost any money but Jeez.
Wherever I go, everything I use routinely closes.
And yes, they said branches would reopen as Fulton Bank, but my branch had a water main break and is “under renovation”.
Anyone here remember Joe Btsflk from L’il Abner? That’s I.

WASHINGTON — Regulators have closed Republic First Bank, a regional lender operating in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. said Friday it had seized the Philadelphia-based bank, which did business as Republic Bank and had roughly $6 billion in assets and $4 billion in deposits as of Jan. 31.
Fulton Bank, which is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, agreed to assume substantially all of the failed bank’s deposits and buy essentially all of its assets, the agency said.
Republic Bank’s 32 branches will reopen as branches of Fulton Bank as early as Saturday. Republic First Bank depositors can access their funds via checks or ATMs as early as Friday night, the FDIC said.

We’ve never had one fail here that the accounts weren’t transferred or people showed up and picked up a check.

Another credit union took it over, and it's networked with ATM's all over, no fees.

Nearest branch office is 150 miles away, but what the heck, this is CA.

You could fit 3.5 Pennsylvanias in it.

Good luck. Things change. There used to be a Radio Shack 17 miles away ... "next town over" ... and it went bye bye.

I remember when the Tandy Leather store in MA became a Radio Shack. And it wasn't so long ago that I visited my daughter, found a busted thermostat in her place, picked up a soldering iron at the nearby Radio Shack, and fixed it.

I can't fix banks, though. They are run by MBA's, and

but I remember Allied Radio. Built some kits from Allied Radio.

I had some fun with kits.

I have one of these amplifiers from the catalog you pointed to.
Just can't find it right now,
Took time to replace an incandescent lamp that burned out.
