(9,329 posts)Whats galling is that we had that tree, a large white birch, trimmed April 1st. Then two weeks ago, a segment of the tree suddenly fell, blocking part of the neighbors driveway. We paid to get that cleaned up, and now another part has torn away from the base. So we get to take another tree down. We had an ash taken down in April when the other trees were trimmed.

(54,252 posts)Houston got hit by unexpected flash tornadoes this past weekend. My yard got tore up and cluttered with two giant fallen trees. Eight people died around the city--one guy cause his employers didn't clear the workers out of their construction equipment fast enough.
My sympathies to Iowa.
