who in the hell thought it would be a good decision for the presumptive nominee of a political party to show up at the conference of an entirely different political party?
Even just on an objective level with no names attached, it sounds monumentally stupid.
Its an unforced error of the highest degree.
I would never want Joe Biden to be seen addressing a libertarian convention, nor would Joe Biden ever be stupid enough to think addressing a libertarian convention was in any way a good idea.

(6,353 posts)Perhaps he was oversold by others on the idea that the Libertarians would fall at his feet and proclaim him as their candidate.
Or perhaps his delusions just took him over and he became willfully blind.
Oh well, not quite the reception he was used to.

he missed that chance and like stated above, he thought he would just regale them with his presence
But in actuality , its like it should be at every rally in the future. His rallies are smaller now
liiberlibrarians should show up in droves and maybe 100s of Dems and BOOOO the hell out of him.

Id love to see it become a regular spectacle

Trump is surrounded by yes men, and nobody was willing to say it would never work. Perhaps their devotion to him made them blind to the obvious.

Hardcore Libertarians don't want to nominate someone who is not a Libertarian.
They want their own nominee.
There was a referendum yesterday, to disinvite Trump and RFK Jr. from speaking at their convention. The leadership never let it come up for a vote .
