Lloyd Blankfein goes off the deep end

CEOs are springing into action to save the country, just as they did during World War II, according to the CEO of Goldman Sachs.

Lloyd Blankfein, the head of Goldman Sachs, compared CEOs' fight on Capitol Hill to avert the fiscal cliff to CEOs' contributions to World War II, in an interview with CNBC reporter Eamon Javers.

"There have been times in our history when I know the business community was very, very engaged in the affairs of our country and added a particular area of expertise that was valued at that time," Blankfein told Javers on Wednesday. "For example in the war, when it came time to increase production, of course the CEOs came down." ..............(more)

The whole condescending smirk and air of superiority. This man should be fed a diet of horse shit because that is what was coming out of his pie hole. Blaspheme. If this is what our corporate "leaders" are thinking, then we are standing on the outer deck of the Titanic.

Union Banking Corporation, Krupp, Bayer, I.G. Farben, Royal Dutch Shell, W. A. Harriman & Co., General Motors, ad infinitum, that bankrolled the German Nazi party, worked for them during the war, and afterword became the largest companies on earth because of their war profiteering.

This is why these parasites have such good security.

What was that 1932 or 33?

Or the wealthy industrialists (Standard Oil & US Steel) who bought the McKinley presidency to avoid anti-trust issues. It ended up backfiring on them.

There's a lot of dark and corrupt money out there.

Cut the self righteous crap Lloyd, you and the other CEO's only interests are self interests to preserve (if not increase) your personal monetary value at the expense of the entire country.

If you actually were engaged in the affairs of the country you and your buds would be doing everything you could to bring jobs back as a means of increasing the tax base, which on its own decreases the deficit you claim to be concerned about.

Loosen up those trillions sitting in corporate accounts and put people back to work you ass.
