This really shouldn't hang on whether Cohen has a great character. He doesn't. His character caused him to do many bad things. Things that ultimately landed him in jail.

BUT a conspiracy cannot be cracked without flipping someone from inside the little Cabal organizing the operation.

I think the match between the time-lines of the documents match Cohen's testimony very very well.

Stipulate that Cohen is a man of disrepute based on his past, but that BAD PAST made him the insider who can testify about what Trump & Co. were up to... trying to deny the American people, the truth about Trump.
