If, while visiting my stupid little buddies in, say Idaho, add copious amount of alcohol and then the obligatory gun, just because, there's an "accidental" discharge of that weapon. An Uber ride to the local hospital emergency room, (we were drinking) the emergency room personnel are compelled by law and ethics, to treat my stupid little buddy with due haste.
If a woman comes into the same emergency room with complications of a miscarriage, that care might be, by law, denied?

(9,825 posts)2 guys get into a shootout over the last piece of pizza. Both get shot and emergency room treats them. They don't treat the woman having complications of a miscarriage, nope.

Wasn't this the argument against misopristol in Texas?
