(34,176 posts)90 supplies of both of them is $1100 - not total, that's my co-pay. Even with excellent insurance, it's that high.
Both are relatively new drugs, with no generics. Both drugs are heavily advertised. But as my doctor says, "They work."
Fortunately, I can afford them, but dang, that is a big chunk of my budget.

Medicare/caid, etc., have tough laws for anything approaching a kickback, inducement to prescribe, etc.
At that point, they probably need to talk to a lawyer or they might be talking to the HHS OIG and DOJ.
Of course, most drug companies are large.

(1,081 posts)I wish there was a disclosure before he kept upping my dose from the recommended 200mg to 350mg. I want off but have to ween off.
