There is too much sketchy shit going on, so I don't think I have a tin foil hat. Here's my theory.

All this BS saying Biden should drop out, no mention of TSF dropping out or changing his tune or anything. That SC shit made me a believer there’s a concerted effort to corrupt the coming election. TSF and pretty much all the rethugs are saying they won’t accept the results…if. If they don’t win. I don’t know who pulling the strings, not Trump but he is the perfect useful idiot to throw the election into chaos. It’s not a possibility, it is assured.

My theory is Joe is watching this unfold. He’s not an idiot and he’s not blind and if anyone can navigate us through the coming storm, it’s Biden. And the RWers know this. So they are pulling out all the stops to get him off the ticket. They’d much rather have the Dems in the middle of chaotic infighting or a new younger (less experienced) candidate.

That it is an insurrection, by a group of co-conspirators in government along with billionaires.

The immunity ruling is similar to
THE ENABLING ACT the Nazis used to break Germany's government.

This is a five alarm fire. If the Democrats do not use the powers given before the election, the Supreme Court will highjack our election because trump and the Republicans will say there is a problem and they'll BUSH V GORE us.

Sure, the chaos favors the Trumpers, and that's why Biden put his foot down. Biden is the nominee. I don't think that Trump will look like a failure. Not on the surface, anyway.

I think that he has some slick image handlers. Trump is the chance for his puppet manipulators to reach their goals for the US. If he fails this time, there will not be another chance to use Trump. The puppet show producers will need to find someone else who might not have Trump's skill at con artistry and gaslighting.

So they are putting their best effort into image prep and messaging.

It is very interesting that there have been some abrupt reversals such as Sen Mark Warner and Jerry Nadler. Something seriously changed their minds. I wonder what.
The media is failing big time. The personalities like Jon Stewart et al are looking at this like a football game, which it is not.
We had a primary in which we had freedom to choose and we selected Joe. Yes he had a bad night. Time to move on.
My only concern, and it is my only concern, is that we have to absolutely win the senate and the house. This will put a kebash on any potential GOP shenanigans, such as blocking an appointed VP, if that should come to pass (and I pray it doesn’t).

regarding the SC and the election is that they will take some cases and do a Bush v Gore redux. An example would be state courts making decisions about absentee ballots, drop boxes, registration etc. that are within the 6 or 8 months before the election. I could easily see the GQP claiming that state decision was "unfair" to their voters and then having this MAGA US SC majority crafting some sort of "ancient precedent" etc. to justify nullifying enough states to throw it to the House.

If Biden wins there will be so many lawsuits I could see it putting off the inauguration. To our advantage, we're in the White House already. If Trump wins, I would bet money that he will demand to be put in office immediately, not wait for January. He will take that to SCOUTS.

How many of us wrongly thought the seven million vote ass-kicking he got in 2020 would take him out of the game, but he never even left the field. He's been front & center for almost a decade now.

They KNOW they will vote against Trump or any MAGA selected alternative. I think there are largely 2 groups here.

One group consists of many who claim that Biden only intended to have one term as a transitional President and they feel he should not have run for reelection. However, the time to create this pivot was before the primaries and no credible candidate ran against him. Those with media power used the bad debate performance for a full throated effort to get Biden to stop his campaign, notably the NYT. That is the only way another person could get the nomination.

After 2 weeks of incessant reporting that Biden needs to go and is too old to be running, the polls have moved against him which is not surprising as that has been most of the "news". This leads to a second group joining the first who worry the campaign is in a terminal downward spiral and nothing is as important as stopping Trump.

Some have asked why not go after Trump in the same way. My guess is his stepping down does not get them the perfect candidate to vote for.
