Although PNAC's main focus was Foreign Policy with the Neocons wanting to go to war with the Middle East, the methods and vitriol of P2025 are very similar. For those who are not familiar with PNAC, here's a refresher from Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century
Excerpt: Stating that American policy "cannot continue to be crippled by a misguided insistence on unanimity in the UN Security Council", the letter's signatories asserted that "the U.S. has the authority under existing UN resolutions to take the necessary steps, including military steps, to protect our vital interests in the Gulf"

Neocons and right-wing fascists attempting to take over government foreign policy then, and now domestic policy with P2025.

I still have the pdf. document in one of my laptops somewhere. My favorite part re: "transformation" in the "Gulf": ""Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor."

From the Wikipedia link:
During mid-1996, Kristol and Kagan co-authored an article in Foreign Affairs titled "Toward a Neo-Reaganite Foreign Policy" - referring to the foreign policy of President Ronald Reagan. In the article, they argued that American conservatives were "adrift" in the area of foreign policy, advocated a "more elevated vision of America's international role", and suggested that the United States' should adopt a stance of "benevolent global hegemony."[20] In June 1997, Kristol and Kagan founded the PNAC in order to advance the goals they had first laid out in Foreign Affairs, echoing the article's statements and goals in PNAC's founding Statement of Principles.[19]

Guess who Kagan's wife is? LINK
Guess what the first PNAC war was?
PNAC is one of the top organizations that have changed the very essence of the nation.
What would George Washington have thought about these pathetic disgusting pirates?
Further, the process of transformation (of the military), even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing eventlike a new Pearl Harbor. PNAC policy report Rebuilding Americas Defenses, September 2000
