It looks like Trump may have been "collateral damage"

Perhaps one of his whackos got pissed at someone in the crowd and emptied his magazine.

"Speaking in a parking lot near the event side, a mother and son who were attending the rally told NBC News that people in the crowd were injured and carried away. People remained at the scene for 10 to 15 minutes after Trump was taken away, after which hey were then told it was an active crime scene and all attendees were escorted out.

Three senior law enforcement officials said that they are looking into whether two other individuals in the crowd were shot at the rally. The threat has been “contained,” according to the officials."

The other people shot could just as easily be the collateral damage. That's significantly more likely, though the shooter's motivation has yet to be established or reported.

He got hit by a shard of glass. If it was a bullet his ear would’ve been blown off.

It appears he sees something that catches his attention right before the shooting starts, when he lifts his head off the scope, ducks back to line up a shot, the shooting starts, then the video cuts off.

The shooter got off 8-10 rounds in 10 seconds before the counter-sniper pegged him.

Hollow points are more dangerous and create worse wound effects.

most NATO militaries only use FMJ rounds because of an international treaty that prohibits expanding rounds.

But hollow point might just wizz thru too, not much resistance in a earlobe to expand the bullet.

And doing it in such a way the US Secret Service is after you?

No one is that stupid.
