There is 1) love of and willingness to defend democracy, 2) respect for the rule of law 3) a firm belief that all are equal under the law 4) a deep dislike of bigotry 5) a strong belief that this country does not succeed unless we ALL have a fair shot (as Joe puts it) 6) understanding that strength comes from diversity.
I'm pretty happy with my silo, despite some holier-than-thou exhortations to step outside it.
