A recent post of mine here on gun control seems to have engendered some push back about the banning of assault riffles...

......as opposed to limiting who may own one.
This is an interesting debate in as much as it opens the conversation as to buys AR-15 and why they do so. Much like my proselytizing about the concealed carry of handguns - that all guns should be worn out in the open, if you have the right to be armed, I have the right to know of the danger you present to me - I feel that all assault style weapons should be, by their basic nature, considered more dangerous to the public. And that there should be a mandate that they be finished in "day-glow" pink. This to, again, give the general public advance warning of this danger in their presence. Such a mandate might also cut the sales of such weapons dramatically, particularly among the Kyle Rittenhouse Brigade of military cos-play morons.

For the pink assault rifles, may I suggest a shade called Baker-Miller pink for it's psychological effects.. RussellCattle Jul 2024 #1

Baker–Miller Pink, also known as P-618, Schauss pink, or Drunk-Tank Pink is a tone of pink which has been observed to temporarily reduce hostile, violent or aggressive behavior. It was originally created by mixing white indoor latex paint with red trim semi-gloss outdoor paint in a 1:8 ratio by volume.
