Blast from the past, I know, but the pro of choosing him is we wouldn't necessarily be pulling him from an existing job or losing a seat.
I guess the con is--where TF is he? He seems to disappear a lot. Has he ever been fully vetted?

(3,767 posts)Beto is viewed (fairly or unfairly) as an open-borders, gun hating lightweight. He's failed to win statewide now twice. Both Cruz and Abott are terrible and Beto could not beat them. IOW, he does not bring anything to the table that Kamala already has. We need a more moderate white guy like Cooper or Shapiro that can win over a swing state.
